Neda Shasti is a dedicated dental hygienist with a passion for promoting oral health and a commitment to exceptional patient care.
Neda’s s journey in the field of dental hygiene began when she earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2009. During her academic journey, she earned a distinguished spot in the Periodontal Honors program, marking the beginning of her pursuit of excellence.
Since then, she has been involved in clinical, patient education and communication, and practice management in various dental offices. Meanwhile, she has enhanced her skills and knowledge by participating in various professional and academic conferences and educational opportunities. Also, since 2020 she has been volunteering as the evaluator for Clinician’s Report Foundation, a premier independent research group, She investigates the efficacy and usefulness of new dental products.
In 2022, she joined the University of Maryland Baltimore School of Dentistry as a clinical instructor to assist the next generation of dental hygienists in expanding their knowledge beyond an academic education. Since then, Neda has a proven record of improving the clinical science-based skills of students and has been endorsed by her colleagues and her students.
